About

Bonde Workwear was created with one goal in mind: to offer women high-quality, comfortable, and functional work pants that fit and look as great as they perform. After working in agriculture for over 15 years, Bonde founder Sanna Beek experienced the same frustration time and again: women’s workwear simply didn’t meet the mark. Ill-fitting, restrictive pants that made it hard to move and work comfortably, let alone feel confident.

Sanna realized that the fit of your pants can determine how you feel each day—especially when you're tackling demanding tasks. During a cold Minnesota winter Sanna learned to sew and decided it was time to stop settling for “good enough” and start creating the work pants women truly deserve. With that, Bonde Workwear was born.

The name “Bonde”—Norwegian for farmer—reflects Sanna’s heritage as well as her career in agriculture. Not only is Bonde a nod to her roots, but it also honors hardworking women who deserve clothing designed specifically for them..

Since the early days of sketching out the idea, Sanna has immersed herself in apparel design, collaborating with a local sewing company, pattern makers, and industry experts—many of them women—to ensure no detail is overlooked. Every stitch, seam, and fabric choice has been carefully considered to make Bonde Workwear the best option for women’s work apparel.

And now, the vision has become a reality. The first run of Bonde Workwear pants is complete, and we’re excited to launch a brand that’s as hardworking as the women who inspired it.
